Hello Everybody! What a blessing it is to read your comments, prayer requests, and new member submissions. We have been very busy relocating to a rural location to get our rescued chickens outside city limits: If you would like to know more about our progress go to: Chicken Heaven on Earth . We have completed the 12 Apostles Section of the Foundation of the Holy City Bible Study and are following it up with Apostleship and a study of what the Bible says about Apostles which should make for a very interesting study.

Helping the Homeless Project

We are happy to announce our ongoing project "Helping the Homeless Project" in addition to our Healing Families Project 2012. Helping the Homeless Project involves collecting items to help homeless individuals and families. After interviewing over a 100 homeless people during an extensive study which included members becoming and living as a homeless person to allow them to understand the plight which they are in and allow us to better understand their needs. The following is a list of items which homeless people need.
We are now accepting donations to distribute among the homeless. Items needed are:

Sleeping bags
Small tents
Back Packs
Emergency food supplies (Food that will not spoil, is light weight, has an extended shelf life, and can easily be carried in a backpack) MRE's and emergency survival food kits fall into this category.
Flashlights with batteries
Small solar powered lights
Portable carts with wheels which can easily be pushed, allowed, and loaded onto a city bus.
Hand warmers which do not need batteries or electricity

1 Gas heater (used and still available for someone who needs it)
